The Yōkai Council is a long and ancient group of former humans that are under the command of their leader and blood-father, the Yōkai Elder. They serve as the antagonistic factor in the story, and are relentlessly attempting to obtain the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox from Sayuri Kyuubi.
